The Art and Design of Quake 4

Gamespy has a feature discussing the upcoming first person shooter Quake 4. More details about the title are revealed in an interview and screenshots provided by some of the folks at Raven. From the article: "I think we have a lot of diversity throughout the entire game. We have some dark areas, and we have outdoor areas that are brighter. I think how diverse everything is will really go a long way. We didn't really set out saying, 'This game is going to be dark, this game is going to be light' -- we set out to make a cohesive environment where you go through different extremes and you'll see a bunch of different stuff."

A larger skeleton allows a person to carry more weight.

How does this force you to sit on your arse eating food and not doing any exercise. No matter how big your skeleton is, a bullfrog chin is simply unacceptable, unless you have an extra 'chin' bone that we don't have. Hint: if it wobbles, it's fat. Not big-bones. Not your skeleton. Fat. In fact, a bigger skeleton should stretch the fat out, making you look leaner. The fact that you manage to both have a big skeleton, and to have excess fat hanging off it, means you must eat a hell of a lot.

But even if I lose 150 pounds and ripped with muscles from head to toe, some small-minded people will still point out that I'm still technically obese

What, they're going to measure your height and weight and apply an equation to determine that you're technically overweight? It sounds like you're making excuses not to lose weight. I'm not surprised, fat people often do that.

If that was the case, I wouldn't bother with the Slim Fast diet to go from 400 pounds to 325 pounds in one year.

So you got a fraction of the way and gave up because you liked your food too much? That's OK, not everyone has tenacity and determination, or enough self-motivation to keep going and going, even when it's hard. Just open a tub of ice-cream and congratulate yourself for at least trying.
