Live Picture of the Next Xbox
n0ethics writes "A live picture of the Xbox 360 was leaked from Microsoft's Xbox 360 launch party held last night. The culprit appears to be a privately-owned cameraphone. Engadget Reports... Also included in the leak was the new Xbox Live headset, a new Xbox 360 controller and the new Eye-toy-ish Xbox 360 peripheral. Now the question is: was this intentional, or should we fear Bill?"
Why do they call it a "live picture"?
TFA says "real live picture". "real live" is an English idiom. The submitter probably didn't understand it.
Just a hint.
Read the article (the first link) and look at the comments posted to the story.
I guess he is making fun of those idiots.
HI O WISE PRINCE. WHT TOOK U SO DAM LONG?
The item in question: Dell
Did anybody else notice that there are only two controller ports on this thing?
retro?? I thought we explained this to you already on Engadget...
Those aren't controller ports... those are memory card slots. There are no controller ports, because the controllers are wireless.
I don't think it's going to be white. It looks like it will have designs printed on it. http://www.ourcolony.net/images/logos/37943.jpg
This isn't astroturfing, it's "normal" viral marketing. Astroturfing would be MS employees coming into this article to post comments praising MS, but ourcolony has never denied that MS is backing them (that I'm aware of, at least).
Evidently you are a robot, or wear gloves a lot. I work in a school computer lab sometimes, and the paper white apple eMac keyboards are crap colored after two weeks. Even the eMacs themselves start to brown after a little while.
Most camera phones suffer from small, low quality lenses and no flash. Having a high pixel count is not going to remedy that.
I used the word "live" to suggest that it was taken from "Real life." It's not a mock-up or render. Is this cleared up now?
