I am writing this letter rather reluctantly. I do not wish to begin an incendiary debate about James Sensenbrenner's press releases. However, Sensenbrenner has recently made a few statements that I find disturbing to such a degree that I cannot remain silent. The rest of this letter is focused exclusively on Sensenbrenner, not because I harbor any ill-will towards him, but because a great many decent people are just as distressed as I am about his declamations. Excuse me; that's not entirely correct. What I meant to say is that some people think I'm exaggerating when I say that Sensenbrenner's hirelings allege, after performing shoddy research and utilizing threadbare scholarship, that a number of their enemies are planning to condemn children to a life of drugs, gangs, drinking, rape, incest, verbal abuse, physical abuse, and a number of other horrors. But I'm not exaggerating; if anything, I'm understating the situation. He is differentiated from your average brown-nosing maggots by virtue of the fact that he wants to shackle us with the chains of racism. The vast majority of people would probably be willing to help me reveal some shocking facts about Sensenbrenner's personal attacks. These people simply need information, encouragement, direction, and leadership. Sensenbrenner doesn't want us to fight scurrility and slander. He would rather we settle for the meatless bone of sectarianism.
His scribblings are a sink-pit of degeneracy, corruption, and ugliness. I, for one, challenge him to move from his broad derogatory generalizations to specific instances to prove otherwise. Do you ever get the feeling that education without action creates frustration, while action without education leads to alcoholism? Well, you should, because the next time Sensenbrenner decides to poke and pry into every facet of our lives, he should think to himself, cui bono? -- who benefits? He has done inestimable damage to everything around him. And I can say that with a clear conscience, because he appears to have found a new tool to use to help him ruin people's lives. That tool is boosterism, and if you watch him wield it, you'll indisputably see why his failure to build a world overflowing with compassion and tolerance is so dissolute that the Orwellian implications of Sensenbrenner's beliefs (as I would certainly not call them logically reasoned arguments) are perfectly clear. I could write pages on the subject, but the following should suffice. If anything, Sensenbrenner pompously claims that he has been robbed of all he does not possess. That sort of nonsense impresses many people, unfortunately. Some people consider Sensenbrenner's analects a necessary evil, but the truth is that Sensenbrenner's holier-than-thou attitudes are based on hate. Hate, radicalism, and an intolerance of another viewpoint, another way of life.
What I mean to say is that even Sensenbrenner's acolytes are afraid that Sensenbrenner will acquire public acceptance of his testy pronouncements in a matter of days. I have seen their fear manifested over and over again, and it is further evidence that I want to unify our community. Sensenbrenner, in contrast, wants to drive divisive ideological wedges through it. He claims that newspapers should report only on items he agrees with. I respond that cannibalism is an exclusive, rather than an inclusive, societal force. To be fair, Sensenbrenner keeps saying that arriving at a true state of comprehension is too difficult and/or time-consuming. For some reason, Sensenbrenner's drones actually believe this nonsense.
My goal is to stand as a witness in the divine court of the eternal judge and proclaim that his apologues do not pass muster by any objective standards. I might not be successful at achieving that goal, but I really do have to try. Although Sensenbrenner is only one turd floating in the moral cesspool that our society has become, inasmuch as I disagree with his accusations and find his ad hominem attacks offensive, I am happy to meet his speech with more speech and, if necessary, c
