Bill Gates: Cellphone will Beat iPod

From the article: 'As good as Apple may be, I don't believe the success of the iPod is sustainable in the long run.' His prediction for a successor? Has anyone ever done any reseach on how often Bill Gates has been right in his predictions?
I'm sure that at one time, he predicted that Microsoft would dominate the desktop computing market. It seems he made a few bucks off that, but hey, let's wait and see if it really catches on or it's just a fad.
