    Oh FSCK the "common" users!

Why don't they damn learn to use their computer, instead of either running away like stupid luddites or excepting the computer to do everything magicly.

The fucking stupid, lazy, indolent, thick, retarded common users can go to hell. They can bloody well learn to use the fucking machine or they can go to fucking hell.

    This is bollocks.

Your music is stored on your computer. The iPod syncs and you get an exact copy on your device. It works perfect each and every time and I have yet to meet anyone that didn't succeed syncing their iPod. Including grandparents and kids. This is a brilliant way to do it and iTunes is an excellent way to handle this and other tasks.

You can do what ever you want with your iPod. Even buy a new one. The next time you sync, your music will be there. You can never, ever lose your music by making a mistake with your iPod.

We are tens of millions of users that love this.

However. There are some idiots that don't get it. They want to do all the work by themselves, they want to make mistakes, and they want to steal music from friends.

That's the ONLY reason that they want to use their own folder structure, they don't want to use iTunes and they want shitty software like this. And even if millions already know this, they still think they have found the secret way of how files are stored on an iPod.

    Puke.

They're just plain old firewire/USB hard drives as far as your computer is concerned...

...You can do this as simply as dragging your music back into iTunes with the 'copy imported music' setting on, and there are plenty of other utilities that do it that have never gotten a /. article.

All my other firewire/USB hard drives don't require special utilities. Even my PSP lets me just plug in and drag and drop.

Funny, I thought simplicity was supposed to be the big draw of the one-button-mouse Mac culture.
