First look at new Battlestar Galactica Episodes

mikrorechner writes "GateWorld has had a look on five new episodes of the upcoming season 2 of Battlestar Galactica. Beware of spoilers. In other news, season 2 will be shown first in the US by the Sci-Fi Channel starting July 15, with UK's Sky One following in October." If only UHD would simulcast in HD this would be perfect.

I think I speak for all UK Slashdotters when I say... bollocks.

But seriously (and no doubt unpopularly), why? Like the US doesn't get enough of the good stuff first, now Sky's giving away one of the few programs we get to premier? Bastards.

Oh bollocks, What does the US get that's better than what you have in the UK? Lost? Surivivor? Fear Factor? Big Brother? There are 4 (sometimes 5) shows I watch a week. SG1, Atlantis, CSI and Battlestar Galactica. Everything else I consider trash at this point. I would much rather have access to the BBC programming than anything else on NBC, CBS (except for CSI), ABC and FOX.

Besides, You're getting Dr. Who right now (among others). Who knows if it will ever be ported across the pond to the US.

Not second class consumers? Then prove it with your Euros. There is a reason the UK is a testing ground and I'll wager dollars (or euros) to doughnuts it's less personal and more economic than you think.

I am sorry for that oversight. I've been around these imperial 'Muhricuhns for too long, they are starting to rot my brain and make me forget that people in the U.K. read Slashdot.

Not sure what the point of posting an article like this is, when it's nothing BUT spoilers.. it's 2-3 line sentences of each episode saying exactly what happens in each episode.. if you read any of it at all it's all spoiled. Why is this beneficial to anyone?

I live in Germany. Waiting months or years for good shows or movies to play at the cinemas or air on television is business as usual.

Yeah, but it all evens out: you guys always get to invade Poland first.
