If it were up to the Democrats and the loonies who flock to them we'd not rape the environment, not have manufacturing and tech jobs (because they depend on environment raping) and we'd all have a standard of living about the same as the countries we now have cheap illegal immigrant labour coming from.
Oh yeah, we'd also have the Democrats and loonies continuing to bitch because, having gotten what they were clamouring for for years on end, they'd be dissatisfied with it and blame the Republicans for it since it is always the Republicans fault since Democrats are inherantly incapable of making mistakes or doing wrong due to their complete moral and intellectual superiority over Republicans.
Just like all the left-wing countries in Europe live in a low standard of living..right?.
