Online Takeout Delivery is Back
prostoalex writes "It's like watching e-Dreams and re-living the Kozmo.com experience, only this time it's for real, the New York Times says. SeamlessWeb is here (or rather, in New York, Chicago, Washington, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles and southern Connecticut) to take your take-out orders and deliver the food. All is done via their Web site so no need to look for that takeout menu: "SeamlessWeb charges restaurants a commission of 5 percent to 15 percent, while the business pays a 2.5 percent fee for each transaction. The process for consumers will work much the same, except they will be charged no service fee.""
GWB has already shown the opposite. First, we have captured/killed just a few of the upper Al Qaida. Most of all, we do not have Bin Ladin. That shows that it is easy enough to evade us.
In addition, since we invaded Iraq for its' Oil, it shows that we elect leaders who have no issues with lieing to Americans for their own personal gains. And we will accept it.
Finally, Iran and North Korea are busy showing that you can disregard weak leaders like GWB and simply build their weapons. Once you have them, it will make it difficult, if not impossible, for real leaders, such as a Poppa Bush or a JFK, to deal with them.
As to the 2 lists, have you noticed that we are no longer the manufactuering power house that we once were? With-out the economic power that we were back in the 50's, and 60's (and have been losing since Nixon), we will simply be cutting our throat. We still have the power to punish 1 and up to a small group of countries, but not beyond that. Reagan, and GWB have seen to that with our outlandish national deficits and dwindling education bases. We are still the mightyist country on this planet, but we are losing rapidly.
But the point you are missing is there is no delivery fee! Free delivery, OK? Jeez, how can I make this simpler so you understand that there is no cost for having the pizza delivered!
