19" LCD Monitor Round-Up

An anonymous reader writes "Alan Dang has just posted a 19" High-End Gaming LCD Round-Up at FiringSquad.com with fancy colorimetery that's actually useful and makes sense. They call it a gaming round-up, but it's not true as they bring in a workstation panel where you can upload a 10-bit gamma curve directly to the panel. Spoiler: a $350 panel beats a $600 panel."

I have a Sharp 19" monitor that I bought last year; but it doesn't seem to be on there. A comparison between five monitors hardly seems like a complete "roundup".

The second paragraph of the article explains (or at least gives a cop-out answer for) why there's only five monitors being compared.

That is a very thorough review (although in-depth rather than breadth). Personally I appreciate them choosing the better ones to start with, rather than wading through several dozen nearly identical budget models.
