U.S. Scientists Create Zombie Dogs
Alex_Ionescu writes "U.S. scientists have managed to revive dead dogs to life, by using a technique similar to cryogenation, in which the dogs' blood was drained and replaced by a cold, saline liquid. A couple of hours, their blood was replaced, and an electric shock brought them back to life with no brain damage. The technology will be tested on humans within the next year."
US scientists have succeeded in reviving the dogs after three hours of clinical death, paving the way for trials on humans within years.
I wonder what institution would be able to get these experiments approved? Stem cells are considered bad, but re-animating dogs and people is ok?
Questionable science, questionable source. All in all, a very slashdot like submission. Now if we could just get them to re-animate Timothy.
Somehow, I have to imagine, if you are posting a reply to a thread about zombie dogs on Slashdot, avoiding sex should be no great accomplishment for you.
This is terrible, is there anything science cant just leave well enough alone? Things like this arent right, life is taken (and given) everyday for reasons we do not understand and werent meant to understand.
I myself believe in God, (no i dont go to church, or preach, and only occasionally pray, so dont get my type confused here)and I do not believe that things so delicate as life should be tampered with. So lets say you die.....you're heading towards the light, you get to the gates of heaven or what have you and inside, and you see everyone you havent seen in SO long, then all of a sudden "hey, its time to leave! you're being called back!"
NO...life doesnt work that way.
It scares me to think im only 21 and the world is already making these huge leaps towards things I could only imagine in books or movies, its fucked up.
This world is an amalgam of shit, some things need no explanation, life is one of them. Leave it alone maybe if we could all STOP BUILDING BOMBS that would be one step closer to something worth putting time and effort into. But im sure its not lucrative enough for anyone to give a shit.
Okay, I'll bite. notserpmh@yahoo.com
