Windows AntiSpyware Downgrades Claria Detections
accihap writes "A week after word leaked out that Microsoft was negotiating an acquisition deal with Claria (See recent /. coverage), spyware researchers have noticed that the Windows antispyware application has downgraded Claria's Gator detections and changed the recommended action from 'quarantine' to 'ignore.' I program in PHP and ColdFusion on a Linux machine (for Windows servers... how ironic), but how do you define 'professional usage'?

I'd bet Joe User could tell me about products that he uses everyday that would make me say "what is that?" too. For example, name four brands of medical equipment (with out using google).

A problem i have with Windows is why does it become unstable after a program crashs when editing PLAIN TEXT. That is why i switched to linux.

I usually can start editing a file in a folder 4 layers deep before i can finish double clicking on the folders to find said file.

The GUI and scripting on MSAccess is nice, but MSAccess's power? MS doesn't seem to think Access is powerful either. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q222135/ That is why they make MS SQL Server. MySQL is a nice 'MSAccess' for medium websites and smaller, Orcale does support linux, which i think covers the power just fine.
