KDE's future: Plasma & SimpleKDE

A reader writes: "KDE continues to grow. Early screenshots, mockups, and developer blogs show that the new Plasma Project (KDE 4.x branch) will bring innovative approaches to desktop computing. On the other hand, the very first screenshots of SimpleKDE, an unofficial fork of KDE, were meant to be a response to those who criticise KDE as being overbloated."

    That doesn't happen. I'm a slashdotter for some time, I get several times metamod points and allways use them, and then, sometimes, mod points appear. I'm not the kind of user that posts too much or that shows what's his OS/religion/etc, so don't blame that to happen. Thing is, with so many users, the probability of having mod points is diminishing...
