MSN Virtual Earth Revealed
jeremyw writes "A day before its official launch, MSN Virtual Earth has gone live. MSN appears to have been inspired by Google Maps in this combination of local search and mapping. Virtual Earth introduces a number of interface enhancements to the now-familiar draggable aerial web map, such as the ability to zoom in using your mouse scroll wheel, and a Location Finder to determine your location to determine your real-world location "using Wi-Fi technology." Microsoft blogger Robert Scoble claims the site may not perform at full capacity until Monday."
I hate when people think they have exclusive rights to certain words.
It applies in certain situations, not this one. I guarantee you 100% that MS isn't out to destroy some hole-in-the-wall company named "Vista" by naming their OS "Windows Vista".
Something like Lindows.. maybe, since that's a grey area and Lindows obviously competes in the OS market with Windows... but Vista? Please.. get lost.
I hate frivolous lawsuits.

During the 1960s America developed an "anti-Chinese plague".This engineered bio-weapon was to be used in the event of a two front war with China and the USSR. One of the unfortunate side effects is the weapon does not distinguish nationality or politics.
The lethality for Han is nearly 100%.
IIRC the lethality for Han was actually closer to 85%. I would hope they are now looking into some sort of synthesis with the bird flu.
