Canada and Denmark using Google as Battleground
TedRiot writes "Canada and Denmark are fighting over Hans Island using Google as battleground. A quick search of 'hans island' revealed a paid advertisement with the banner headline: 'Hans Island is Greenland. Greenland natives have used the island for centuries.' The ad was linked to the Danish government's foreign affairs web page with the letter condemning Graham's visit. Toronto resident Rick Broadhead placed a Google ad and said the Canadian government needs to get with the times." Reuters has coverage as well.

If you have a subscription, look up his full comment history (especially those posted in the politics section), and see how often he starts of his comment with "Before any Anti-Bush comments are posted" (reworded from memory), followed by a usually fallacious and strongly right leaning drivel. If that's not enough, look up his "wisc.edu" webpage and look for fundamentalist Christian content aiming at evangelizing the reader to his fundamentalist POV (point of view).
PS: Not a troll, though it may seem so. Merely wanted to point out the evangelizing slant in parent. I have nothing against a balanced POV, but my liberal attitude stops right where people try to convert me to their narrow POV.
Fuck Hans Island. Lemme have a look at vaginainstitute.com.:D
hilarious
While you're probably not a fundamentalist troll, reading your posts over time has proven you're either a centralized-authority apologist troll (on Slashdot) or a true centralized-authority apologist. I leave it up to the readers of your posts to decide the truth of the matter.
Some of your posts go in the opposite direction, but usually only on specific issues where I assume you're unhappy with the current authority rule but would be happy with it supporting a different one. In general, your posts show extreme faith in the powerful (financial and governmental) to be doing the right thing.
I wouldn't say all of your posts fall in that category, but a majority certainly do. The fact that they're highly rated means little; familiarize yourself with Slashdot moderation and you'll probably agree.
