Xbox 360 for $300
Xizer writes "Wal-Mart employees have leaked the price of Microsoft's next-generation console. The Xbox 360 is set to be launched for $299.99. Additionally, games are set to be $59.99 each. Ouch. Looks like the next generation of consoles is going to burn holes in gamers' wallets even moreso than the current generation. One thing is for sure: It's time to start gearing up for an expensive Christmas."
FP!
I have a PS2 and about a dozen games, which is good enough for me... whenever I have any time to play them.
The problem with socialism is that they always run out of other people's money. - Margaret Thatcher
I don't really give a fuc. You still need a computer to record, or at least edit, and distribute gameplay videos.
Coupled with all the DRM and Palladium stuff that's about due, I'm planning on taking up another hobby. Probably not photography, since lately it's been a problem proving the pictures are yours, or otherwise gaining access to the pictures that you think are yours.
Scuba diving is still non-DRM compliant. I might start scuba diving. Might even buy a little boat. Maybe get my pilot's license. Hell. I might even get my motorcycle license and just have fun with that.
Yep. I'm prepared to walk away from gaming and movies. Other than Discovery HD, I've walked away from television, so it's just a matter of time...
Yeah, I get it, but despite it seeming the same to you, inflation is generally a _bad_ thing.
