New 'Pentop' Computer To Help Children Learn

Available in mid-October for $99 at Wal-Mart and Target, the device responds to written commands and is aimed at 9-14 year-olds who can use it as a calculator, a calendar, to create and record music, and to play logic and geography games."
This invention should be protected by patents.
For all those slashdotters out there bagging patents, realise that you are uninventive fools who could never possibly dream up a wonderful product such as this.

That would be a very interesting feature. Way back wne I played Sonic for the Sega Genesis, I was very intrigued by the debug features in those games. They even allowed you to place any game sprite you wanted on the board, and it had a "no clipping" feature. yeah, it wasn't much more than a toy, but it was cool being able to set up your own traps and
modify various areas in the game, and see all the really weird stuff hidden off the normal map in Sonic 3.
