Intel Ports Developer Tools to Mac OS X

This, as Apple is working on its first Intel-based Macs, due sometime in 2006. I thought PPC's could be built by anyone - the key seems to be power usage, and size???? Maybe Intel can build something that can compete with IBM and MOT and better integrate with its other chip sets.
