P2P Now and Then

brajesh writes "There was an earlier story on Slashdot regarding eDonkey overtaking BitTorrent in P2P traffic. The BBC story was based on this press release by CacheLogic. To expand on this, there is a comprehensive analysis of P2P trends in 2005 by the same firm. The report makes some insights into the present and future of P2P, particularly interesting in the light of recent steps taken by BBC -BBC iMP and others. The analysis also makes some observations about the break-up of P2P content."

      Duh.

but Slashdot's RSS feed hasn't been working since about 2pm yesterday.

So if someone wants to fix this.. that'd be great.

finally, the front page of slashdot is clean of apple nosense. Apple fanboys are leaving to macslash.orgwhere they can have steve jobs, and ipod nano related news all day.
one day, we will finally get a good site without those daily session of off-topic talk about their gadgets. No offense, the same happened with sco, google, the interest in those topics is decreasing, from threads 1000K+ messages about a brief private event of SCO CEO daily, to 80-200K messages a month. let's see happen the same with apple related topics.
