Novell Missteps Not Affecting SuSE
OSS_ilation writes "Analysts and users agree -- if the layoff rumors at Novell prove true sometime soon, SuSE Linux has nothing to fear. Over at SearchOpenSource.com the word is that the popular SuSE Linux operating system has both the community support and technical chops to weather any personnel-related storms that may be lingering on the horizon. However, the point is also made that should Novell go south, there are those who believe SuSE could prove to be an appealing acquisition target."
There's been a flurry of Suse stories, is there anything happening with this distro that the general computer using public should be aware of?
The mormons are what brought Novell down. It used to be a decent company, but their extremist conservative politics didn't allow the company to change with the rest of the world. (anybody heard of Utah?) They continue to try to do business "the good old mormon way," and are completely oblivious that the whole fucking company is spiraling the drain while they preach how bad it is to drink coffee (but Coke is OK because mormons own lots of Coke stock) and smoking and liquor are bad also. They paid too much attention to their religious affiliation and no attention to what the fuck was going on with business, lost their way, and have been stumbling over the same old retarded business style and culture for 12 years. Get the company the hell out of the second most backwards state in the union (mormonville) and into a state that believes in progress and things might be OK. Gee, how come no good executives come to Novell? BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO BE CAUGHT DEAD IN FUCKING MORMONVILLE HELL WITH A BUNCH OF CLONES, THAT'S WHY YOU DIPSHITS!!!
