SCO Demands Linux 2.7 Information
dr_d_19 writes "According to Groklaw, SCO is now demanding IBM to turn over 'all documents concerning IBM's contributions to the Linux 2.7 kernel, including development work'. Of course, there is no 2.7 kernel and no plans at all to create one."
This just in! Open-Source Zealots call for the death of Darl McBride!!1
SCO totally reamed ur mom last night
Isaac Asimov
Er, he's dead, dude. Sure ruins your joke.

Hey, I always thought folks from Utah were a little strange... Jesus rode to America in a canoe...He burried 7 gold plates...then he sent Joseph Smith as a prophet...and now he's sent Darl McBride to kill technology. Maybe he used some of that good-old Mormon "Continuing Revelation" to find that IBM was planning 2.7.
::shaking finger::
Plaintiff: Your Honor, we'd like to present this Divine Revelation as evidence against the defendant, IBM.
Judge: What do you expect me to do, get on a broom and fly? This is ridiculous and inadmissable in Court!
Plaintiff: Your Honor, Mr. McBride would like to say something.
Judge: What is it?
McBride: Well one of my wives had this dream last night, you see, where IBM execs were stealing code that doesn't even belong to us--I mean--them and some of the code was in this version 2.7 kernel which has yet to be released...
Judge: This is outrageous! You are confused!
Defendant: We'd like to bring in an expert, Mitt Romney
Romney: Darl, what's up? What's the beef with Linux, man? You're a bad Mormon! Very bad, very very bad!
Judge: This isn't a judgement of his adherance to religious tenets.
Romney: I was only saying that Mr. McBride has obviously been smoking something...other than legal and he needs to take a step back and consider things. I've have a friend named Tux, and not only did he not steal your precious code, but he's an awesome penguin. Linux is the future, and floundering companies like SCO can't do anything about it. Your Honor, as the governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I'm petitioning that this case is closed ASAP. Not only did IBM not commit copyright infringement, SCO is now sinking into lunacy. Why would IBM copy an inferior product? Penguin all the way!
