Seems just about everything I see here these days is something I've seen somewhere else a day or two earlier.
Why don't you get off your lazy asses and find the news and deliver it in a timely manner instead of waiting for your readers to hand it to you on a silver platter?

At least the Baseball players who learn to cash in on a child's game aren't Coke-swilling computer nerds. There are all sorts of professions that are traditionally for kids who don't grow up, and it doesn't mean we have to respect them for doing nothing productive for society other than to provide the workers with something to gossip about.

Oh you're the best obsessive little punk to play a FPS. Congrats. Now differentiate this equation or play this sonata or lathe this piece of wood or write a short story or develop some software or perform any number of other "talent-requiring actions".
things like xbox live should have a "fun to play with" rating and only other players can set it up [they can vote once per player] after playing a game. That way when you're setting up a match you can get a read of the players. When you get "winners" who will do anything to kill ya and not actually show skill you can give them the boot.

I've played against PROs, first time i played against "PROs", if you can say that from that time, was in Quake 1, back 96 or 97 can't remember, it was our "National team". They played well, compared to me, 12-13yrs old kid.

Then i grew up, got real gaming hardware... No, that did nto include top of the line mouse altho, those days i started playing CS, since then i improved and improved and improved. I played against PROs, and whenever it came to RAW skills, not that he has more money and has for example M4A1 against me with desert eagle, but head to head, no camping, i've won every & single one, easily i might add.
imho, "PRO Gaming" is just matter of choice, not skill, at today's pro gaming skill levels, by FAR.
Nope, i've never played in a clan even for a long time, found it too bothersome to schedule a match etc. I knew most members of world's #1 MOHAA clan altho, IRL i might add, even they sucked in CS (some of them played CS too, and i shortly were part of their CS "division").
Then i acquired something people call "life", then came "sex life", very active one i'd might add. Still, i'm ashamed to my real life player counterparts, sexual communication, male female interaction, it's my new game, the most addictive one ever. My record is 3 chicks in a week, while my friend scored 6 in a single night, his brother 7. Don't even ask how many their dad got.
I'm still a newbie in this game, then again, i started playing this game like 4-5 yrs later than most others.
That is a game you guys should be playing, pick her up, make her feel better than anytime before in her life, then go and pick up another one, move up in skill levels, start from ugly skanks, move up to beautifull "ever man's dreams", supermodels etc.
It's a number game deep beneath too. Some of us decide to marry a chick and stay with her, but quite large portion of those men also still hook up now and then with other women, why? Because it's in our nature! It's only the weak men, "betas", who fall prey for the social conditioning of FEMALEs, who try to control us men, see if we are "alpha", powerfull, kings so to speak.
Why is it that 10% of men get 90% of sex? Because only 10% of men are "alphas", rest have fallen prey, and have put "pussy on pedestal".
Alphas are the ones who get what they want, because they want it. Betas get only what they can get, and when they get it, concentrates on keeping it. Only surviving barely from day to day. Wake up your inner alpha, wake up for the real game, game of life & sex.
Bottomline is, now, and always has been, that the only true game is the game of life itself, in modern world, it changed to how many chicks you can lay, more prestigious you will become, as it used to be in way back in history, how many offsprings & females you've got. Why you think harems exist?
Weeding out the weak from strong. That's what has gotten us where we are now, PC games are just a way to weed out more weak people from strong.
Game on! But change your game! being a alpha male contains whole lot more than just being able to seduce chicks, i can name top of my head a lot of names who can pick up chicks for one night stands etc. easily, but ain't able to hold onto anything in life and can't handle even basic stuff about their lives. True gamer of life is that who attains it all, and keeps it.

You're an idiot. There is no such thing as "competative crap-taking". There is no skill in taking a shit. I can assure you that if you played against Fatil1ty in a FPS, that you would soon realise that what he does requires just as much skill as playing quarterback in football. The main difference is he doesn't have to worry about his head getting ripped off by a defender. However, he still has to have extremely fast reaaction times and dexterity. You don't think it's a sport simply because you don't respect it as a skill. Personally, I think golf is fucking gay but it doesn't keep it from being a sport.
