This showed up in my inbox, I have no association with linspire whatsoever. Maybe slashdot sold them my email address? That's the only thing I can think of.

I had one of those too. I use Virtual Hosting, and so give everyone slightly different versions of my e-mail address -- then I can tell who's been selling my address on.

The one they used to contact me was one I had supplied in an e-mail regarding the nVu HTML editor. {In the end I couldn't get to grips with it, and went back to kate, which -- like most of KDE -- has gone from strength to strength}.

Hahaha, man do not waste your time giving those explaniations here. You think slashdot readers have passed any Automata Theory and or Formal languages course?

I tried installing 5.1.0 this morning, and it broke phpBB (the latest version, whatever it is) - phpBB could not log me in. No errors or anything, just no login. I know they've had compatibility issues with PHP5 before, but never anything this drastic. I went back to 5.0.4 until someone gets it fixed.
