Mac mini, Apple DVR?

CDPatten was one of several to note the rumor of a new Mac PVR... code named Kaleidoscope and featuring an Intel CPU and Front Row 2.0.

    If they keep that name for production, I have a feeling these guys may have an issue with it. But I guess the way justice works in the US, whoever has more money is right, so Apple shouldn't be worried.

    I'm quite looking forward to AOpen's Intel Mini Computer that looks just like a Mac Mini. If the AOpen mini can stay cool with a >1Ghz processor it should be totally awesome for stuff like this.

    Apple, put an eSATA port on this sucker. There's no need to use firewire/usb to sata bridges to slow down your external disk i/o. Or is it Apple tradition to remain one technological generation behind wintel like you did with USB?
