Many service providers are starting to prioritize their own content at the expense of those from rivals. Many countries have started or are considering blocking Voice-over-IP (VOIP) traffic in order to protect the phone companies from competition.'" How does faster broadband actually impact your Net usage?

On the other hand, why would I subscribe to a cable Internet service unless I can get high speeds on the services I the customer want (even if those aren't the cable company's services)? The only way I'd do it is if the cable company gave me a significant break on the price for accepting the slowdown.
