The Patent Epidemic

cheesedog writes "BusinessWeek is running an editorial titled The Patent Epidemic, which chronicles not only how abusive and absurd our patent system has become for software and business method patents, but how it hurts even traditionally innovative fields such as the automobile industry. Interesting commentary can be found in the regular places, with Right to Create suggesting action you can take to stem the spread of this epidemic, and Patent Prospector attempting to refute BusinessWeek's arguments."

Ah yes, another stupid slashdot article about patents featuring an assload of imbecilic comments by a bunch of idiotic, midless slashbots who know as much about patents and patent law as a tea leaf knows about the history of the East India Company.

    BTW, Zonk, you suck balls.

When you can't make it through one paragraph before resorting to namecalling, you must not have a very strong argument to make.

Or you must be getting tired of responding to the same drivel from the same source. He's had responses to just about the same set of material published at least 3 times by Businessweek in the last year. Sure, I think he called them "BeavisWeek" the first time, but by now it at least makes some sense.

For instance, I now refer to a certain world leader as "that idiot" rather than by his name, but that doesn't make my points less valid.
