Zoep Goes Open Source

An anonymous reader writes "Voipster has released their Zoep client-side VoIP engine as an open source project licensed under the GPL (now called OpenZoep) along with an OpenZoep Firefox extension. If you've been thinking about incorporating a VoIP soft phone client into your project, this article details the API and discusses how to work with the OpenZoep client."

    In order to get a domain name of reasonable length and not violate any trademarks it is essentially necessary to make up a word. Dr. Seuss would make a fortune naming companies today.

    Ideally, the first person mods it offtopic and the rest go for the "Underrated" tag.

    This is much more amusing when a post is badly marked as a Troll. Seing (Score:5, Troll) is quite a sight.
    I think we should be able to create our own ratings and determine assign +1, 0, or -1 values to them. Or give dual or triple rating systems like the retarded TV rating system. (Score:3:Insightful;-1:Off-topic;0:Redundant)
