We Don't Need No Stinkin' Broadband
Ant writes "eMarketer has an article on The Yankee Group's analysis on why some Americans aren't feeling the broadband love. It was based on Ipsos Public Affairs. 45% of Americans say it's simply too expensive. 30% say that they just don't want it. 14% say they feel dial-up is adequate for their needs. Less than 10% are not able to get broadband access in their area. Five percent insist broadband is "too complicated". Another 5% aren't even sure why they don't have it..."
Some of us just wish lots of you would go away. Lots of us never wanted the shopping mall & miss the days of TEXT e-mail - why do more then half the employees at most companies anymore need over a gig for their personal e-mail store? That's a trick question, we all know they need it for all those stupid jokes & chain letters - which have to be in HTML 'cause without all the stupid smiley faces they'd have no clue it was supposed to make you laugh ('cause they don't know a good joke from a sh*t joke with out that smiley face...or that the damn thing has been getting passed around for 15 years already...) We won't get into the house & job hunting... usually done while at their current job...cause they got tired of solitaire & needed a break... - to bad they didn't keep the prices high enough to keep the rift raft out...
