american society is devoid of any soul. they are too concerned with their electronic gadgets and consumer society to worry about what their government is doing. even the nerds on this site that have a clue about what's going on are too scared to do more than maybe 'write their senator', maybe a few will even march down the street in protest, but that's about it.
