Google's New Calendar CL2
pvt_medic writes "Google is apparently working on its own calendar (CL2) program to integrate with Gmail. The closed beta is ongoing with about 200 participants - people involved are not allowed to invite outsiders to see the calendar and are under strict rules not to share any details with outsiders. Here are some leaked photos of the CL2."
Shit, I fail it again.
Anyhow, With google rolling out gmail for corporate users, good calendar integration could put a dent in outlook's market share.

Yessss this is AWESOME. Now I can seriously use google as a center for organizing my communcations and tasks. I've been waiting for this calendar for some time. Thank you google!

yes well i am a 26 year old who doesnt know any programmin languages, i run my leet box on windows xp! I still readin slashdot..Especially if it means they are takign down Microsoft..As soon as linux gets enough market shares with gaming corps(without haveing to use any extra programs to emulate windowz) i will switch..Until then..my work, and me are stuck with em!

I'm guessing this will be one, of posssibly many, new things Google will be releasing April 1st.
Guess I won't hear about it until April 2nd then. At least, not from Slashdot.
Based on how brutally retarded Slashdot [and lots of other "news" sites] have been in recent years with posting fake stories - I will be staying off Slashdot on April 1st.
Sites like Digg can self-heal to work around dickhead story posters [unlike Slashdot]. I'm guessing / hoping that Digg will front-page a couple of jokes early on, then the user moderation will deep-six everything else. Meanwhile folks who stick with Slashdot will just get angrier and angrier with the editors for repeatedly posting crap.
