Evidence of the Missing Link Found?

HUADPE writes to tell us CNN is reporting that scientists in northeastern Ethiopia recently discovered a skull that they think may be evidence of the "missing link" between Homo erectus and modern man. From the article: "The hominid cranium -- found in two pieces and believed to be between 500,000 and 250,000 years old -- 'comes from a very significant period and is very close to the appearance of the anatomically modern human,' said Sileshi Semaw, director of the Gona Paleoanthropological Research Project in Ethiopia."

    The mere fact that normal, inteligent human beings can turn into something like a creationist is proof that evolution isn't always working from simple->intelligent

    You know the really sad part? The really sad part is that most everyone on this thread has to spend their time bashing creationists or people of faith rather than discuss the issue at hand which is the scientific discovery.

    I'll never understand why it is such a mission in life to destroy other's faith if you don't have any yourself. I mean seriously what does that accomplish? If you don't believe then don't believe, but why tamper with the foundation of someone else's life?

    My wife was a very strong Christian with absolute faith in her life and her life after death until she took a theology class with a very obviously biased professor who spent a great deal of effort convincing his class of the folly of such belief. Now she questions her faith and correctness every day.

    So you tell me what that accomplished? Why shake the foundations and comfort of someone who has faith simply because you have none of your own? There is no point except to prove your own righteousness in what you believe, which ironically is nothing.

    So you folks continue to enjoy bashing Christians and others of faith because obviously it is getting you a whole lot of nothing except empty satisfaction. Which combined with 50 cents is just enough to get a can of coke.
