Currently being worked on is everything from bionic eyes to an entire exoskeleton enabling the wearer to carry 200lbs. From the article: 'The 1970s gave us the six-million-dollar man. Thirty years and quite a bit of inflation later we have the six-billion-dollar human: not a physical cyborg as such, instead an umbrella term for the latest developments in the growing field of technology for human enhancement.'"

    Living in the United States we have people here able to carry an extra 400lbs, we call them morbidly obese.

    You DO realize that Europe is responsible for the bloodiest wars of the 20th century, right? You do realize that Europe is responsible for vast stretches of genocide in the 20th century, right?

    And you accuse Americans of "destroying" the world when WE'RE the ones who step in to stop Milosevich? And Hussein? And Khaddafi?

    What the fuck has Europe ever done to save the world? You just wring your hands as genocide occurred Serbia. You started WW/I and WW/II. You stood back and watched the USSR invade other countries and destabilize the world, forcing the US to -- once again -- step in and take care of business.

    And now we're watching Iran get nukes. What the fuck is Europe going to do? NOTHING, as usual. And as usual, the US will have to do it alone.

    Learn some fucking history before spouting off stupid bullshit.
