Prognosticating E3
With E306 getting underway, basically tomorrow, Game|Life has some predictions of what we'll see from Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. From the Nintendo piece: "Remember the amazing surprise when Twilight Princess was shown off at E3 2004? Nintendo's press conference on Tuesday will be something on the order of two dozen of those 'holy shit!' moments, all strung together. Fanboy tears will flow. Nintendo will make some surprising announcements about online for both DS and Wii. The 'nunchuck' attachment for the Wii will also have an accelerometer inside it -- it won't be able to detect the position of the controller relative to the screen, but it will be able to detect tilt."
Isn't that still illegal in most countries?
My E3 prediction is that everyone is going to think Wii players are trying to use a VCR with a remote that needs new batteries.
Nintendo will change the Wii back to Nintendo Revolution with a big 'gotcha!'.
See, I can make baseless predictions and state them as facts too.
DYWYPI?
I was confused at first, but have come to the conlcusion the it's called the 'nunchuck' because it kinda looks like one, not because you're expected to swing it around making kung-fu sounds.

Ken Katuragi (Sony) and Steve Ballmer (Microsoft) will go several rounds in a mud wrestling competition over who has the better console. In a stunning upset, sommeone will slip a chair ringside to clinch it for Ballmer.
Why has nobody mentioned the Phantom console?
Man, that thing is totally going to hand Nintendo, Sony and MS their asses.
Right?
