Ship Logs Suggest Upcoming Polar Reversal

Nyerp writes "Researchers are using naval logs dating back as far as 1590 to arrive at better estimates of the decline of Earth's magnetic field. The results suggest that there may be a reversal of earth's magnetic field in about 2000 years." Also worth noting, our ancestors have lived through a number of polar reversals, and we're still here, so no need to fret!

    Hmmm I like your vision of the future... so it will only take 2000 years for this to come about?

    Earth's magnetic field is composed of 6 poles giving cubic magnetic harmony! Evil academia spreads lies about North and South, educated stupids do not believe North and South do not exist!! Compasses are evil incarnate - only CUBE compasses can tell the Cubic Truth about direction! Following compasses caused ancient explorers to fall off the Cubic Earth. THIS TRUTH IS SUPPRESSED BY BASTARD EDUCATORS! Now they spread lies about magnetic pole reversal - untruth! Any child could tell you magnetic pole cubes have inherent cubic stability, resulting in extreme aversion to pole reversal, no matter what evil educators lie to you.
