Hacker Resells VOIP For Profit
uncleO writes "The New York Times tells the story of today's arrest of Edwin Andres Pena, 23, who 'hacked into computers run by an unsuspecting investment company in Rye Brook, N.Y., commandeered its unprotected servers, and re-routed his phone traffic through them,' then 'used more than $1 million he received from his customers to go on a spending spree, buying real estate in south Florida, a 40-foot Sea Ray Mercruiser motor boat, and luxury cars including a BMW and a Cadillac Escalade.'"
Too bad he was stupid enough to buy an Escalade. If you're going to defraud people, you could at least refrain from using the money to waste gasoline and annoy other drivers on the road. Nothing pisses me off more than being at in the left turn lane of an intersection and trying to judge a gap when one of those fucking gigantic things is sitting across the intersection in the other left turn lane, blocking out the inside lane and not to mention the fucking sun. Nothing, except of course when the car in question is "pimped out" with spinning, 20-inch rims over-driven bass and whatever else these sub-sentient, gangsta-wannabe rich boys are loading it up with these days.
As far as I'm concerned, you can shoot any fucker who drives one of those things on sight.

hehe...you are just angry that somebody else has a pimped out ride while you are stuck in your stock pre-1986 Toyota Camry plastered with liberal bumper stickers on your way to your work-a-day job while that punk, as you term him, in the Escalade is closing his latest Florida real estate deal on that high end cell phone while on the way to his afternoon cigarette boat race where he will waste thousands of gallons of gas driving a noisy massively polluting loud boat and running over manatees and endangered seals while drinking beers handed to him by the babes sitting in the back seat.
I'm glad they listed the optinal Gangway since my first concern with a Sea Ray would be disembarking as soon as possible.

WOW if an SUV causes you that much grief I can only imagine the seizure you must have when a semi is involved. I am sick of the anti SUV crowd crying about how big SUVs are when there are much larger vehicles. Its called learn to drive and/or shut the hell up.
