iPod Faces Patent Probe
twofish writes "The long running patent spat between Apple and the struggling Creative Technology took another turn today. Creative is claiming that the US International Trade Commission (ITC) has now launched a probe into the possibility that the iPod infringes on Creative's patents. Creative has asked the ITC to issue an order stopping Apple from marketing, selling or importing iPods into the US."
I am tempted to sue Creative for sucking. If they made a better product than the iPod, they would not have to sue Apple to get market dominance.
LOL PATENTS RULE LOL

LOL I AM A PATENT TROLL LOL
I bought an Apple Ipod with 30gb memory almost 2 years ago. It stopped working after a year and a half of usage, and Apple offered to replace it for a $80 surcharge. It was at that moment that I ditched the heap of junk and tried the Creative Zen player. It is infinitely more flexible than Apple's IPOD line, and I don't have to deal with the I-Tunes software that every loves to use so much (sarcasm). IPOD is the industry leader - don't get me wrong - but there are better solutions out there. If they plundered patents from their rival counterpart, then my impression of Apple slips even further.
