Spain Outlaws P2P File-Sharing

Section_Ei8ht writes "Spanish Congress has made it a civil offense to download anything via p2p networks, and a criminal offense for ISP's to allow users to file-share, even if the use is fair. There is also to be a tax on all forms of blank media, including flash memory drives. I guess the move towards distributing films legally via BitTorrent is a no go in Spain." Here is our coverage of the tax portion of this law.

1978, though your question is a typical Anonymous Coward loaded cheap shot at begging the question. If you don't even know when Spain formally rejected fascism, or can't google to learn, you have nothing to add to this discussion.

Perhaps if someone could post the actual text or a translation of it so we don't have to interpret an article that tries to interpret a law which again comes off in a mind-blowing Slashdot header.

We will do *WHAT,* Sir? Could you please finish your sentence before making an absolute judgment?

I'm being polite, too. I am well known for being a troll unintentionally, but this sentence leaves me batshit confused. Again, my question is *DO WHAT?* What will we do that you so conveniently leave out? Oh, and FYI, this only covers unauthorized P2P copying. Linux at.all will be fine, regardless. Things that are already authorized to be distributed freely will always be distributed freely, regardless. Nothing in this world except government regulation can stop that.

    God is Greatest!

Actually, it's Allah who is greatest, and the liberals just "interpret" that shit to mean Yaweh/Jehova, because they are fucking godless heathens anyway and one god damn god is just the same as all the other gods. This will all change when sharia takes over California, and the moslems kill all the fags and druggies, as well as the pacifists that refuse to conduct jihad. Anyway, about Spain.

Spain is pretty fucked up. They are on their way toward sharia law, so this will just help things along. The first order of business is to get control of communications, and this will help do just that.

The Spanish Inquisition was setup to route out all the muslims employing taqiyya to survive "behind enemy lines" in dar al-Harb.

Not any different than Senator Mccarthy hunting down all the communists that had infiltrated the State Department, right under the liberal nose of Roosevelt.

You can thank God for the Spanish Inquisition, because you'd be speaking arabic without it, and you'd get your Allah damn ass beat by the Moral Police if they caught you posting on an internet website. The ayatollahs would probably have this shit shut right the fuck down. Can't keep your population under control if they can communicate with each other. Subversive and shit.
