    You cannot be serious!!! Some schmuck puts speakers in Mac Plus cases and that warrants a Slashdot story???

    He could have save a lot of time and money if he had bought a set of computer speakers and cut the end of the wire off!

    Imagine that this article slips through a wormhole backward in time. Your great grandfather looks at the title "Homemade iPod Hi-Fi mini". The only word in it he recognizes for sure is "Homemade", which he associates with things like applesauce and moonshine. He might deduce "mini" as being the greek word in "miniature" and "minimum".

    Probably, he'd think this was recipe for a dish called "Hi-Fi" using small string beans.
