World Of Warcraft Crushing PC Game Industry?

simoniker writes "Age of Empires co-creator and Iron Lore co-founder Brian Sullivan has been discussing his studio's first game, Titan Quest, but along the way has openly wondered whether World Of Warcraft's success is part of the reason for the decline of the PC retail game market. Sullivan commented: 'For retail PC games, I think the biggest problem is World of Warcraft... It is such a compelling MMO game that it sucks up a lot of money and time that would normally be spent on other retail PC games.' Does WoW's growth actually mean that PC games in other non-MMO genres may sell fewer copies?"

Well youve obviously never been friends or aquaintences with crack heads then (albiet meth is close). A crackhead cares about nothing. They will lie, cheat, steal, sell you out to the cops -anything- to get money for more crack. Ive known some heroin addicts too and can definately say the crackheads are far far more decietful and have nothing resembling human decency, respect or honour. Crack next to probably meth is the worst drug out there. Arguably, it's problems come from it's illegality and if every neighbourhood corner store sold it legally, it wouldnt be as much of a problem. I am not sure if that argument really works for crack and meth though. Even if a dose only cost a buck, im sure crackheads would run up to the tollerances of several thousand dollars a day. Ive never met a crack head that didnt want more crack. I have done it. Its ass unless you get addicted, and then its worse because you are just taking it to feel normal. Made me nauseous and lightheaded actually. I would not recomend it. Just pay the money and get real cocaine instead. And never NEVER listen to that one friend that says "but dude if we cut it we'll have 5x as much cocaine" because you wont.

I was going to try meth, but a walk through my neighbourhood seeing all the people who look like they are anorexic, and have put multiple ciggarettes out in their faces changed my mind about that. Meth is also why hitler lost the war, so thats another good reason not to get addicted.
