OpenDarwin Project Shutting Down

niabok writes "According to a message sent by Rob Braun to the OpenDarwin mailing lists, the OpenDarwin project will be shutting down, saying that 'OpenDarwin has failed to achieve its goals in 4 years of operation, and moves further from achieving these goals as time goes on.' The project's servers will remain online long enough to allow developers to move their various projects elsewhere."

    Why are the terrorists targeting the general population when they can get quicker results by targeting the king and his cronies?
    The leader doesn't give a shit if his subjects die.
    If the terrorists really want to get their point across, they'd go after the leaders.
    I guess that's why they never make any headway in military games, they are to stupid and backwards.
    It's to be expected though from folks who wear their sheets around as clothes , forget to take the towel off of their heads after drying their hair, and use camels as transportation instead of cars or bicycles.

    That's exactly what happens to DNA in relation to the neo-darwinian theory of evolution! Half a century has passed and nobody was able to come with one single example of a genetic mutation that added information to a genome. Moreover, as time goes on mutations invariably destroy the already existing genetic information, so they move further and further from achieving the neo-darwinian goal.

    Indeed mutations affect genetic information, but they are going downhill... Can't the supporters see this and shut down the project ?
