Iran's President Launches Blog

02bunced writes "The BBC is reporting that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has started his own blog, the launch of which was announced on Iranian State TV. This is perhaps slightly ironic, given that the Iranian Government actively censors blogs on the Internet."

    This one's pretty popular in Iran after the dubbers made sure to replace the word "Cylon" with the Farsi term for "Jew".

    The problem with judging people on an individual basis is they can turn around and declare you an anti Christian/Muslim/Jewish/Zionist/Neo-con/Gay/Lesbia n/Midget (please circle the appropreate) and all of a sudden, you judgement on the individual has become a judgement on the individual's race/religion.

    For an example of this see the One Nation Party. They attempted to intruduce a system of social welfare that did not care about your race, but rather your circumstances. This system was seen to be racist against the Australian Aboriginals and the leader of One Nation (Paulene Hanson) is now back in her fish and chip shop.
