Firefox Crop Circles Prove Intelligent Alien Life
This past weekend, the OSU Linux Users Group descended on a field in Oregon to create a 45,000+ square foot crop circle of Firefox. The photos and write-up are worth checking out.

These people should be spending their time contributing to the FireFox source code instead of destroying the enivornment for a logo. Now the people in Redmond will stop working on Windows Vista to create crop circles from the Windows logo. Now that's destructive to the environment.
Acre = 43,560 square feet, which equals to about 722 bushels of wheat. Nowhere near the 60 you claim, and I've done this for a living with my family. I suggest you get out of the Geek Squad and join the FFA.

People who have fucking common sense to learn the basics in high school to where if everything goes to shit they don't *NEED* to rely upon technology in order to fucking survive, PLEASE!!!!
I'll bet more than 75% of Slashdot couldn't survive in the real world without that basic knowledge, which I bet was forsaken by the US Gov't to keep people from knowing "too much." How many of you know how to properly graft to ensure better survival of a plant species?

couldn't they have done this WITHOUT making a narrow trail to the damned objective? Corn has to be planted so far apart, you know, in oprder to obtain maximum yield and profit. Almost anyone (unless you're fat, sorry,) can almost walk plainly thru a cornfield without turning sideways to make it thru in a straight line. Why couldn't it be done here unless it were (sorry for the stereotype,) a bunch of fat programmers wading thru rows of corn that should be at least 36 inches apart?
