Great, someone trying to justify themselves by:
a: Pointing out the grammar of my post.
b: Trying to reverse the comment I made regarding death so you don't look like such a prick.
But the thing is, you obviously don't comprehend. If I was to stab you in the heart with a Stingray barb, you WOULD NOT find it funny. If I was to stab your closest friend or family in the heart with a stingray barb, it WOULD NOT be funny. But yet here you are, making "funny" comments on someone who has given more information than (yes, this next part is true believe it or not) you or any of your friends or anyone you know, to the people of this Earth, regarding animals and nature.
So don't try your reverse psychology bullshit on me. Get out of your mother's basement and stop humping your dog, and realise what a loss this is, instead of making stupid fucking comments.
I know he was a great guy and despite his clearly loony behaviour, we all have a fondness for him. /.? How is this 'news for nerds'? Why is this in the science category?

The world needs more Steve Irwin's what? Your sentence makes no sense. Learn to use punctuation, you gdamn moron!
Why did you put an apostrophe in "Irwin's"?
I am constantly amazed that half of the people who post on Slashdot can't spell and don't know how to use punctuation.
(I realize that some of the people posting to Slashdot do not use English as their primary language so those people have an excuse.)
But the rest of you need to straighten the fuck up and stop writing like a high school dropout.
That's the funny thing about the USA. Unlike other countries, we don't just fight wars for our own interests... The EU is working on becomming a world power, but they're still not willing to make tough decisions, that are against their own short-term interests.
There were no US interests in Somalia, Rwanda, Bosnia, Kosovo, Haiti, etc. When US troops were tied up in Afganistan, and Iraq, none of the other western powers volunteered to go into Darfur.
Of course you're just a 9/11 denial/conspiracy troll, so I don't expect any intelligent discussion on the topic.
