Why Microsoft Can't Compete With iTunes
A reader submitted "Why Microsoft Can't Compete With iTunes which is an interesting op-ed piece about the differences between the two companies, but also the intersection with a different type of business like that of television. I've read some of the same arguements before, but this piece ties it up nicely together."
Until an American company learns that I want to play my music in formats I define, I will not buy DRM-infested music from either store. Instead I will continue to use free music services I find by searching for "free music" on my favorite search engine.
...because I (and other human being) hates that company.
1) I hate them because they suck.
2) I hate them because it's cool hating them.
3) I hate them because their attitude against customers and competitors sucks.
4) I hate them because they have money.
5) I hate them because they used their money to streal RARE from Nintendo.
6) I hate them because my Mom bought me an XBox instead of a NintendoDS which made me kill her.
7) I hate Bill Gates high pitch voice.
8) I hate that fat Ballmer monkey ass who thinks money does put sense into his words.
9) I hate the color of their buildings which look like frickin' crosses from the heaven.
But I love Apple.
1) I love their kick ass hardware.
2) I love their lack of feature bloat.
3) I love their nice, clean and timeless designs.
4) I love Steve Jobs hair.
Microsoft might be good in forcing shit back into your ass. But they shall not be allowed to play the music.
Yeah, and Microsoft could have also *easily* added wireless power to the Zune. What a shitty product!

Perhaps ZUNE/SanDisk/Sony/Reo/??? will be the 5% innovation now that iPods have stagnated (unless you count RED as an innovation)
