Zune Not Compatible With Windows Vista

    As if you didn't already have enough good reasons to avoid Vista for a long time to come.

    Of course, there are already enough good reasons to avoid Zune, so it's rather a wash.

    I have a good guess about the reason of incompatibility, their famous weird, non standard protocol for interacting with mp3/wma players, another plot to keep Mac/Linux users out in the cold.

    You mean like how iPods have to have music uploaded to them by iTunes (or another app that has reverse engineered the process, because Apple certainly ain't telling or helping anyone in the interests of the compatibility that is so important to you)?

    Hey, I did mention that. As it happens, I prefer Devil's Advocate to Troll. Besides which, my PMP of choice is an iPod nano 4GB maintained by Winamp and mlipod. So nyer. :)
