EU PS3 Back Compatibility List Released

An anonymous reader writes "Via the semi-official ThreeSpeech blog, Sony has released the backwards compatibility list for EU's PS3's earlier than announced. The list itself offers a lot more games than Phil Harrisons previous statement of 1000 but noticeable problematic games include GTA:San Andreas, Gran Turismo 4 and the Final Fantasy Series."

    Please support your local AWA and perhaps tragedies like this can be avoided in the future. This poor wretched apologist yearns so desperately to apologize for Sony's failure to deliver, yet he lacks even the most rudimentary of an apology. Instead he follows in the footsteps of his Apple apologist bretheren. He suggests using another product to perform the function the original product failed to fully perform as if that somehow repairs the flaw in the original product.

    Condemnor: "Hey! They said this would do that but it doesn't."
    Apologist: "No problem, just aquire this other product that actually does do that."
    Condemnor: "Why should I have to get another product to perform the function for which I bought this product?"
    Apologist: "You're a Sony/Apple basher! You just want to flame and stir up trouble. You must be a M$ fanboi."

    Condemnor: "Hey! They said this would do that but it doesn't."
    Apologist: "You're right. I'm sorry."
    Condemnor: "Who are you? Your apology doesn't do me any good. I want an apology from Sony/Apple and a promise to fix it."
    Apologist: "You're right. I'm sorry."
    Condemnor: "You could shut up because you have nothing productive to add to the situation."
    Apologist: "You're right. I'm sorry."
