theodp writes "Last month, Washington high school junior Sofia Rubenstein used 6,807 text messages, which, at a rate of 15 cents apiece for most of them, pushed her family's Verizon Wireless bill over $1,100. She and other teens are finding themselves in hot water after their families get blindsided with huge phone bills thanks to hefty a la carte text messaging charges." Use of SMS in the US doubled from 2005 to 2006.

first it's your crappy parenting that did that. giving a kid lots of freedom = pretty evil children. Just look at most rich kids, they never see their parents who put their career way above their kids, they are all rotten little pieces of shit.
Kids needs rules, defined right and wrong and consistent punishment when the line is crossed. It's called learning respect, and way to many shits today dont know the meanng of respect until they get their assess handed to them when they open their mouth at the wrong person. getting your wanna-be tattooed ass handed to you by a real thug because you shot your mouth off acting all cool and shit teaches you something quick.
I always love it when you hear of a yuppie rich asshole get's nearly beaten to an inch of his life and his Mustang was stolen because he tries to dress like eminem and dished out attitude to someone that was not a poser.
Getting a pool cue to the back of your head humbles these "bad asses" fast. they cry like little babies begging you dont kill them.v too bad their parents though that money = good parenting.
good parenting means making your kids work around the house, smacking them if they disrespect anyone, teaching them that there will be absolute hell to pay if you do bad, and that if they mouth off they will get their asses kicked and you wont be there to save them.
Some kids are simply too stupid, but you can identify them by the amount of tattoos on them.
