Zune Team Getting Amnesty for iPod Use
MsManhattan writes "The Zune development team at Microsoft is apparently offering amnesty to employees who give up their iPods in favor of using the Zune MP3 player. An MSNBC employee has posted a photo on Flickr of the company's 'iPod Amnesty Bin,' which sports an image of a bitten green apple and the words 'Bite me.' Whether it's to be taken seriously or is a joke to boost employee morale is anyone's guess, and naturally no one at Microsoft was available for comment. From what can be seen in the photo, only a few early-model iPods have been deposited."

Shitty wireless as opposed to... none?
I'm not going to buy a pc because it has shitty wireless, though the other pc with the same components and features doesn't have any...?
yeah, people still listen to radio when they drive to work... and want to continue listening when they get in the building, strange I know, but billions of people still do it anonymous coward.
I'm happy you like your ipods. You obviously love them too. Sounds like more of a status symbol than the piece of shit IPods I owned.
I got the ipod because it was the best product available at the time. I got my wife, father, mother and step mother one. All of the HD ipods had issues with having to rebuild at least twice. I wanted something different and got a zune. It works flawlessly.
Now, with YOUR reasoning... since the zune has the exact same capability, PLUS the ability to copy MP3's back to ANY PC without special software, shitty wireless, radio.... how is the ipod any better, given that their features are identical?
tell me it's a technical difference and not a status symbol or cliche?

Jee's that makes it nice and convenient for Apple doesn't it, "It's all the big, bad music industry's fault, we don't want to have to charge you again for music you already bought on CD, honest" ...yea right.
And don't you realise that the only reason Apple would like to offer DRM-free music is so they can use it as an excuse to increase prices and hence their profit margin. As always though, Steve Jobs will constantly blame the music industry for a situation which Apple profits from.

My guess is, exactly the same sort of douchebag who doesn't belong on the Mac anyway.
