Linux (Car) Crashes At Indy 500
thanksforthecrabs writes to let us know that the Linux-sponsored Indy 500 car had a rough day at the track this weekend: it was the first car to crash on the track and finished dead last. Joost sponsored a car that came in a respectable seventh.
...cuz this is the only way you'll see Linux crash....
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was spotted at the sides lines at the Indie 500 with a miniature version of the Linux-sponsored Indie 500 car. When questioned why he was shaking it around in a comical fasion, Ballmer responded he was trying his hand at voodoo.
If it was a windows car we would have a bunch of jokes about how windows sucks.
/. ? Or can Linux do no evil because it is the underdog?
Where are the Linux jokes
linux come in last? it's the loser that just can't cut it? who would have imagined that.
but still the fanbois just to make it seem like it's fine.
I see a trend. Linux Car finishes last. Linux OS is in last place for the desktop market. The only thing you have going for your is the server market and you still can not get 85% of that like how Windows has 85% of the desktop market (or is it close to 95%?)
The Microsoft sponsored car turned blue with white writing mid way through and idled in the middle of the track for the rest of the race.
Actually, the Lunix car was following the Vista car's tail lights the entire race, but then realized that it wasn't actually the Vista car, but the Windows 95 car's tail lights in the distance.
The Lunix community spent the whole race claiming the Lunix car was in first place... and then it crashed. The Lunix community is currently discussing how their car should have come in first, but it was a Microsoft conspiracy.
