Yahoo! XSS Flaw Endangers its Users
Rarely Greys writes "A major Yahoo XSS flaw makes it possible to take over any Yahoo user's account, including their mail, instant messaging, photos, etc.
This is not a rare occurrence. So why aren't web sites doing more to protect their users? It's looking like most web developers don't even know or care about XSS."
Ha, this site has been biased to some increasing degree for quite some time now. (we are talking years)
Have you noticed how the politics section that never went away after the elections like we were initialy told is still here? I'm willing to bet that your either maturing out ofn group think or you came across a story you don't agree with as much as some of the others. And Dude, That wasn't an attempt at a slam or anything. People are people and like mind tend to hang around like minds, It is only natural to bias yourself one way or another. Objectivity is blurred depending on how much you disagree with the sentiment and message of the submisions.
--Go ahead god of the down mods. Strick me down like the last time.
Firefox may be the browser of choice for win users to switch away from IE, but in the open source world, Mozilla is a disgrace of a horrible project. It is just futile being constantly on-line downloading thousands of security updates for firefox every week. And since building from the source is impossible, one is doomed to download binaries from his distribution. But if we were OK with downloading binaries from our distribution, we would've stayed in Windows 9 years ago and all this linux crap wouldn't have happened.
Oh yes, Mozilla is the number one security hole in Linux.
There is no excuse in using anything other than konqueror.
Google, on the other hand, helps and funds mozilla with several millions of dollars, while on the other hand blacklisting konqeuror (just serach about it).
What are we to presume from that?
That google will do anything to extend its search database to *your* hard disk?
Think for yourselfs people.
