Lawrence Lessig to Leave Copyright Sphere

brandonY writes "The founder of Creative Commons, the Stanford lawyer behind the 'Eldred v. Ashcroft' case, and the author of 'Code' has spent the last 10 years working tirelessly on behalf of limited copyright terms, net neutrality, and the public domain. Tuesday, Lawrence Lessig announced on his blog that he has "decided to shift my academic work, and soon, my activism" from fighting the good fight for the public domain to fighting the good fight against corruption and the influence of big money's effects on legislation in general."

Thanks for taking a half-cooked case to the supreme court, losing, and setting a precedent we all have to live with now. We wont get another bite at the apple, you ambulance chasing fuck stick.

Fuck this self-promoting gas bag, the community is better off without his ilk.

Fighting corruption my ass, it was more about getting himself on TV. Which he never did. Because nobody give a fuck about his pet causes.

His scheme: I am a loser, so the polical system is corrupt. Beeing a loser is good for selling books and boosting his acedemic career. He does not need a proof that he can do it because the others are to blame. It is easy to blame corruption. Hernán Cortés, how many soldiers did he need to destroy the aztec civilisation?
